Merger Banner

Merger vote passed!

The members of both Shepperton Players and Manor Players voted overwhelmingly to merge the two societies as a new group called Riverside Players of Sunbury. A Steering Committee is working to bring about this merger during the spring of 2020 whilst ensuring that historical traditions and the ways of operating of both groups are preserved

As part of the merger process members of both groups were eligible for recognition at the recent Shepperton Players Awards Evening.
The winners were:

Best Actor: Matt Markham (Arsenic and Old Lace)
Best Actress: Olwen Holme (Arsenic and Old Lace)
Best supporting Actor: Billy Reynolds (Arsenic and Old Lace)
Best supporting Actress: Shayla Ash (The Hollow)
Best Director: Carrie Millinger (Arsenic and Old Lace)
Backstage Award: James Ford Bannister (for his work across several productions)
Houlding Award: James Ford Bannister ( for his outstanding work in every capacity for Manor Players)

Congratulations to all of them and to the many good nominees.
